Rajkumar Sharma, the Chief Minister of the Karnali State Government, has taken the oath of office and secrecy today.

Today at 4:00 o’clock the newly appointed Chief Minister Sharma took the oath of office and secrecy in accordance with Article 172 of the Constitution of Nepal before Karnali Province Chief Tilak Pariar. Along with the swearing in of the Chief Minister, ministers Magal Bahadur Shahi and Vinod Kumar Shah, who were appointed as members of the three-member cabinet formed under his leadership, also took the oath of office and secrecy before the provincial chief.

Chief Minister Sharma appointed Minister Shahi Maoist and Minister Shah from UML.

From the meeting of CPN Maoist Center and UML Karnali Province Committee held on Wednesday, it was agreed that both parties will lead the government alternately for two and a half years.
